The Zig Zag Building , SW1
The Zig Zag Building is one of two buildings to replace the former Kingsgate House on Victoria Street. Providing an imaginative take on traditional architectural values, every element of the building’s design has been lovingly considered and crafted. Designed by Patrick Lynch, The Zig Zag Building offers 188,700 sq ft of stunning commercial office space, with private terraces on 7 floors.
The Zig Zag Building has been named in conjunction with its physical stance on Victoria Street. As the building rises, it also recedes; the resulting ‘zig-zag’ will improve pedestrian flow and permeability in and around the scheme. The design of the building offers flexible floor plates, an abundance of natural light and enviable sustainability credentials.
The Zig Zag Building is now complete and provides new public realm, thoroughfares, gardens, restaurants and retail, complimented by a sophisticated public art strategy. It also recently won in Commercial Developement of the Year at the 2016 PROPS awards in May 2016.
