Land Securities unveils redesigned and refurbished Thomas More Square
8 October 2015
A comprehensive redesign of the estate’s public realm has created 10,000 sq ft of new restaurant and retail space, due to open by the end of 2015, while a refurbishment of the office floors at 3 TMSQ completed in June.
An impressive new double height entrance at 3 TMSQ has also been unveiled, along with cycle, locker and shower facilities, and an extensive business lounge and café for use by occupiers from across the estate.
A new digital art installation in the reception at 3 TMSQ was officially switched on this week to mark completion. Taking inspiration from the nearby river Thames, Signal uses animated graphics based on nautical semaphore to reflect the ebb and flow of time and movement in the building.
Early pre-let commitments from Ipsos Mori and Mitsui O.S.K. Lines at 3 TMSQ have been followed by leading charity St Mungo’s Broadway leasing 20,000 sq ft. These transactions leave 59,000 sq ft of the building’s Category A refurbished office space to let.
A further 71,000 sq ft of space will become available between now and September 2016 at buildings 2, 4, 5 and 6.
Oliver Knight, Leasing Director at Land Securities, said:
“TMSQ has undergone an impressive transformation over the past 12 months and with the new public realm, high quality office space, and inspired finishing touches like the digital art installation, it’s never been a better place to work. There’s more to come too, so we look forward to sharing details of some carefully selected food and drink options to enjoy soon.”
